Irish Dancer Problems

When you dance parts of your step perfectly but the judge only watches while you’re messing up.

I won’t be able to post anything for the majority of the summer. 

That makes me upset. :(

But keep submitting problems over the summer! 

And thank you to all who have submitted!

This blog has been really successful so far and I hate that I have to take a break. 

But I will be back when the school year starts again!

When you see that the one girl you can’t stand is competing against you.

When one girl in your ceili is getting yelled at and everyone else just stands there awkwardly. 

When you get your results from a feis and there are no judge comments.

Finding bobby pins in your wig from the last feis.

When you can’t get your fake tan off so you have to go to school looking like an oompa loompa.

When you take off your wig and your hair looks like this:

And then someone suggests that you all go out to eat.

Trying a different form of dance and they expect you to be able to use… your arms.

When the stage monitor isn’t even aware what a set dance is so you have to explain the whole thing to her. 

Missing heel clicks and severely bruising your ankle. Worst thing ever.

Not being able to post anything on Tumblr because you’re busy trying to juggle school, dance, and many other extra-curriculars.
